Do you “still” have a good advatange over the house?
You never have a good advatange over the house. If you ever thought you did, you were mistaken.

Absolutely not. Even using basic strategy in a brick and mortar casino does not give you an advantage over the house.
Basic strategy is the best blackjack strategy that does not require counting cards. It minimizes the house edge by telling the player the best possible decision, given no information about which cards have already been seen.
There is no counting system that works online. Counting systems rely on a player’s ability to track which cards come out of the shoe (or deck) and alter basic strategy to make better decisions. All online casinos shuffle too often for counting cards to be a useful strategy.

Presuming you can find an honest casino online, and many of them are scams, playing Basic Strategy will still not eliminate the house edge, only reduce it to about .5%
Here is a link to the Online Casino Blacklist, avoid these sites: http://www.thedoverpro.com/blacklist.htm
Counting cards at online sites will not work, these sites generally use a dealing algorithm based on a “continuous shuffling” which negates any possibility of counting.
Good luck!

For a knowledgeable player, blackjack offers the best chance of leaving the casino as a winner. And, when you become an expert at the game, you can actually turn the tables on the casino, and you’ll have the advantage.

No, basic strategy will never give you an advantage over the house HOWEVER there are several betting strategies you can use that are pretty wicked for short term gains. You can find them all on my blog at http://blackjackbettingstrategies.blogsp…
Good luck at the tables chief

No. You are always at a disadvantage when playing against the house, even with basic strategy.
The only time you pull even close to beating the house in blackjack is with basic strategy is in single deck games.

Online its not applicable because the cards shuffle like after 5-6 games, so its impossible.
